An established industry player is seeking a dedicated individual for a pivotal role in their operations. This position involves managing daily administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing exceptional customer service. You will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient operations, from tracking goods to liaising with drivers and customers. Responsible for the daily/weekly maintenance of pallet tracking (where applicable), audit of driver logs and trip reports, driver file DOT requirements tracking, and serving as a liaison for internal customer support. Track all return goods as directed by the customer for closeout of returns from the private fleet. Tasks include dispatching over radio, entering information into a YMS and Excel, handing out bill of ladings to drivers, and scanning/copying documents.
Shift: 2nd shift, 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm (Monday - Friday)
Pay Rate: $18.50/hr
The physical and mental demands include reading, communicating verbally and in writing, analyzing information, and understanding instructions. The role may require standing, walking, sitting, using hands to handle objects, and occasionally lifting/moving up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
