Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar accounting support role strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP or QuickBooks is a plus.

Job Summary

The Billing Clerk is responsible for accurately processing invoices, maintaining billing records, and supporting the financial operations of Iberia Foods. This role ensures timely and correct billing to customers and assists with various administrative tasks within the accounting department.

Job Responsibilities

• Prepare, verify, and process invoices for products and services rendered to customers.
• Review sales orders and shipping documents to ensure accurate billing information.
• Enter and update customer billing data into the accounting system.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies or customer inquiries in a timely manner.
• Generate and distribute billing statements and reports.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to billing.
• Maintain organized and accurate billing files and records.
• Communicate effectively with sales, customer service, and other departments to ensure smooth billing operations.
• Perform other administrative and clerical duties as assigned by the accounting supervisor.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Billing Clerk or in a similar accounting support role.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.Experience with accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks) is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
