Iberia Foods LLC is the largest Caribbean and Hispanic food distributor in the United States, seeking a reliable Associate, Warehouse (Checker) to verify incoming and outgoing inventory and ensure shipments meet quality and quantity standards.

You will inspect items against orders, log movements in WMS or records, lift up to 50 pounds, and collaborate with warehouse staff to maintain safe, accurate operations.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a warehouse/logistics, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and WMS.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• Forklift certification a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Inspect and count incoming products against purchase orders and packing lists to identify discrepancies.
• Verify the quantity, quality, and condition of outgoing products against sales orders and shipping documents.
• Document and report any damaged, missing, or incorrect items to the appropriate supervisor.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) or manual records to accurately log product movements.
• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as required.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety protocols and company policies.
• Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts (if certified) safely and efficiently.
• Collaborate with other warehouse staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely order fulfillment.

Job Summary

The Associate, Warehouse (Checker) is responsible for verifying the accuracy of incoming and outgoing inventory, ensuring all shipments meet quality and quantity standards for Iberia Foods.

Job Responsibilities

• Inspect and count incoming products against purchase orders and packing lists to identify discrepancies.
• Verify the quantity, quality, and condition of outgoing products against sales orders and shipping documents.

Job Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly in a checking or quality control role, preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic computer skills for data entry and WMS interaction.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and stand for extended periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Forklift certification a plus.
