A leading agency in New York is seeking a Clerical Associate III to support the Office of Child Support Services. This role involves processing court cases, managing documentation, and assisting with various clerical tasks to ensure the smooth operation of child support services. The ideal candidate will have strong typing skills and a high school diploma, along with relevant experience in clerical work.

The Office of Child Support Services (OCSS) prioritizes children’s well-being by assisting parents in providing for their children’s economic, social, health, and stability needs. OCSS serves parents and guardians regardless of income and immigration status, helping thousands of children annually and collecting over $700 million each year.
The DSS Court Services (DSS CS) division processes cases from the OCSS Borough Offices and Enforcement division for families receiving Cash Assistance and Medical Assistance. It collaborates with the DSS Office of Legal Affairs (OLA) and NYS Office of Court Administration (OCA) to file child support petitions, establish or modify support, establish paternity, conduct calendar hearings, and manage post-hearing case actions.
We are recruiting one (1) Clerical Associate III to serve as a Court Processing Unit Clerk. The responsibilities include:
Salary Range: $39,763 - $45,728
Work Location: 60 Lafayette Street, NY, NY
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Position: CLERICAL ASSOCIATE - 10251
Qualification Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent approved by a State’s department of education or recognized accrediting organization, and one year of satisfactory clerical experience.
Skills Requirement: Keyboard familiarity with the ability to type at least 100 keystrokes per minute (20 words).
