Job summary

Dovenmuehle Mortgage, Inc. is seeking a Clerical Support I on site in Lake Zurich, IL. The role provides general clerical support to the organization and assigned department(s), with emphasis on mail, filing, and data entry tasks in a standard office environment.

The position requires a high school diploma, basic PC skills, and strong communication. It supports a busy mortgage servicing setting with compliance training and confidentiality expectations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Basic PC skills and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Strong verbal communication and professionalism.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• 0–1 years clerical experience.

Responsibilities

• Open, identify, sort, and distribute incoming mail.
• Review mail contents, date stamp, sort, and count per department standards.
• Prepare outgoing mail and priority correspondence.
• Scan, fax, file, and copy files and documentation.
• Perform data entry functions as defined by procedures.
• Complete annual regulatory compliance training.
• Maintain the department's daily check log and distribution process for checks and/or wire transactions.
