Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a cleared Technical Writer to work onsite in Washington, DC, supporting the CBP Cyber Security Directorate. You will draft and maintain SOPs, playbooks, and strategy documents, coordinate across divisions, and produce executive reports and procurement materials.

Requirements include 5+ years in technical writing for government or cybersecurity contexts; strong MS Word/PowerPoint/Excel and SharePoint skills; Section 508 compliance knowledge; and ability to lead

Qualifications

5+ years of technical writing supporting operational, cybersecurity, IT, or government programs.
Experience developing and maintaining SOPs, playbooks, policies, procedures, and executive-level reports.
Experience independently leading documentation efforts from requirements gathering through final publication.
Experience managing SharePoint content and documentation repositories.
Knowledge of Section 508 compliance requirements.
Experience developing newsletters, briefings, and strategic communications.

Responsibilities

Develop, draft, update, and maintain SOPs, playbooks, operational procedures, and cybersecurity strategy documentation.
Prepare organizational reports, SharePoint content, newsletters, and procurement support materials.
Lead documentation review cycles and coordinate with stakeholders to finalize deliverables.
Maintain documentation repositories and annual review/update processes.
Collaborate with government leadership across divisions to ensure standards and mission objectives.
