Job summary

Bestgate Engineering in the United States is seeking an Entry Level System Engineer to join a team supporting mission-focused systems. This role is designed to build a Systems Engineering career with hands-on experience in requirements, system architecture, design, integration, and technical documentation.

You will work with experienced engineers and government stakeholders to translate user needs into effective technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; four years additional TE/experience may substitute.
• Must hold TS/SCI w/ Poly security clearance.
• Familiarity with system architecture and DoDAF/SOA.
• Experience in requirements development and management.
• Familiarity with system integration, testing, and implementation planning.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers and government stakeholders to help turn user needs into effective technical solutions.

Required

• Entry-level opportunity with training and hands‑on exposure to Systems Engineering activities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Ability to work collaboratively with engineering and technical teams.

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university. Four (4) years of additional TE or related experience may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

• Exposure to requirements development and management.
• Familiarity with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) or Service‑Oriented Architecture (SOA).

• Familiarity with engineering documents such as System Engineering Plans, Requirements Specifications, and Interface Control Documents.
