Sandia National Laboratories is seeking an experienced Software Engineer (R&D S&E Computer Science) to design and implement cutting-edge solutions for high-consequence national security challenges. You will collaborate with government customers to deliver impactful capabilities that support warfighters and national security.

The role requires designing software systems, coding, writing tests, and ensuring cybersecurity throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline.
• Five (5) years of directly relevant experience or equivalent.
• Active DOE Q-level clearance (or equivalent) and ability to obtain SCI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and collaborate with design teams to create solutions meeting mission requirements.
• Architect software systems, develop code, and write unit tests.
• Provide on-call support and perform system integration and testing.
• Ensure cybersecurity considerations throughout the software lifecycle.
