As a Cleared Security Officer Driving in Boulder, CO, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $26.14 / Hour

Job Schedule: DayTimeFri11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

How This Role Works

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, following established site protocols and communicating with Allied Universal supervision and/or emergency responders as needed.
• Document patrol observations, incidents, and security-related activities accurately in required reports and logs.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
