Allied Universal in Boulder, CO is seeking a Cleared Security Officer Driver to safeguard clients across aerospace and defense sites. You will perform patrols, monitor access, and provide exceptional customer service while driving to locations.

This full-time role requires a DoD Secret Clearance and a valid driver's license; the schedule runs daytime shifts, with consistent hours; a background check and drug screen are part of employment.

Qualifications

• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check will be conducted in accordance with applicable laws.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by following security procedures, site policies, and emergency responses as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and in a problem-solving manner; notify site contacts and emergency responders per established protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations and security concerns to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

As an Unarmed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, access points, restricted areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access control points, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders according to established protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports, maintain activity logs, and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
