Job summary

C3EL seeks a cleared Network Engineer to support the DISA mission on the Joint Fires Network NOC at Ford Island, Hawaii. The role covers sustainment, maintenance, and change management to ensure secure, available networks for DoD customers.

This mission essential position may require rotating shifts, including nights and weekends, with coordination to restore connectivity and minimize operational impact across multiple government and contractor teams.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
• DoD-8570 IAT Level 2 certification (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Able to work in a 24x7 shift environment.
• Knowledge of Transport and IP network topologies.

Responsibilities

• Execute network operations including configuration and analysis of circuits across optical/electro-optical muxes, routers, and switches.
• Perform real-time circuit redesign to restore connectivity during outages and maintenance actions.
• Collaborate with internal/external customers and government agencies to maximize network availability.
• Proactively monitor network alarms using platform management tools.
• Perform change management tasks including hardware replacement and software configurations.
• Document outages/degradations, isolations, escalations, and resolutions in incident management systems.
• Assess and recommend resolutions leveraging knowledge of routers, switches, crypto devices, CISCO, Juniper, MSPP, optical transport, MPLS, TDM, and SDH/SONET.
