Job summary

The Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) team within AWS for Government is hiring a cleared ADC Engineer to help U.S. Government agencies implement innovative cloud solutions and solve complex problems.

You’ll work on Amazon EFS, FSx, S3 on Outposts, and MQ, handling sensitive data at scale, and you’ll help build features to improve reliability and customer experience.

This role requires TS/SCI with polygraph and ongoing clearance.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of Linux systems administration and/or development experience.
• 1+ years of technical support experience.
• 1+ years of networking and troubleshooting experience.
• Current, active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale.
• Experience with service-oriented architecture and web services.
• Experience with systems administration on Linux/UNIX or Windows.

Responsibilities

• Investigate root causes of customer issues and document findings.
• Monitor systems health and respond to incidents.
• Provide on-call support and incident response.
• Design and build scalable operational tooling for cloud services.
• Collaborate across teams to improve customer experience.
