The role involves unarmed patrols at an aerospace/defense site, monitoring access, and delivering professional customer service. Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state of the job
• At least 1 year of security-related experience
• Active DoD Secret Clearance
• Background check and drug screen as required by law
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report unusual activity per site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly, following escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the aerospace and defense location, including facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain logs for patrols, incidents, and shift handoffs.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorization, and report unusual activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense location, including facilities, grounds, and perimeter areas, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required logs for patrols, incidents, access-related activity, and shift handoffs.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
