Job summary

Amazon Development Center U.S., Inc. in Denver, CO, is seeking a Software Development Engineer for the Commerce Platform ADC, Team Mercury.

You will design, develop, and maintain software for billing, metering, and optimization in air-gapped cloud environments, using Java, Rust, Python, Lambda, DynamoDB, and CloudFormation. This role requires a Top Secret with SCI eligibility, or above, and after start obtain poly clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or CSSLP certification.
• 3+ years of professional software development.
• 2+ years designing or architecting complex systems.
• Experience programming in at least one language.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain billing, metering and optimization software.
• Build scalable services and mentor junior engineers.
• Own features end-to-end from requirements to deployment and monitoring.
