Job summary

Azusa Solutions is seeking an AI Senior Software Engineer to design, implement, and optimize AI-powered solutions in a hybrid role based in the Washington, DC area. You will develop intelligent workflows using foundation models and agentic frameworks, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver production-ready AI systems.

The role requires strong Python skills, CI/CD experience, and a Top Secret clearance eligibility, with local presence in DC/MD/NVA for hybrid work arrangements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 7–10 years of experience
• Proficient in Python; familiarity with JavaScript or other languages
• CI/CD and Git-based development experience
• Experience integrating observability tools into AI workflows
• Data modeling experience; familiarity with AWS Bedrock services

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize AI agentic systems and workflows
• Implement multi-step, tool-enabled AI agent workflows
• Tune and evaluate AI behavior and prompt designs
• Perform structured testing, regression tests, and model comparisons
• Collaborate across teams including cybersecurity and governance
• Document models, experiments, and workflow designs
• Integrate AI components with enterprise data systems
