L’Oréal USA seeks a Scientific Liaison for Cleansing Formulation Development. This role connects groundbreaking science with global marketing, focusing on rinse-off formulations, surfactants, and makeup removal technologies.

You’ll translate complex chemistry into compelling consumer benefits and strategic brand stories. You’ll coordinate cross‑functional teams to design and execute robust testing and create credible technical dossiers, while shaping narratives for senior stakeholders and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
5–10 years in cosmetics/personal care with claims substantiation and scientific communication.
Direct experience with cleansing formulations or skincare is a plus.
Strong organizational skills for a fast-paced, matrixed global org.
Excellent communication translating science for non-scientists.

Responsibilities

Bridge science and marketing by translating cleansing tech into consumer benefits.
Rigorously review marketing materials for technical accuracy and consistency.
Lead data analysis and prepare technical dossiers for innovations.
Coordinate with Safety, Analytics, and Clinical teams on testing.
Present scientific insights to senior stakeholders and media when needed.
