Job summary

Siltronic is seeking a Quartz Support Technician for a 12-hour day shift in clean room environments. You will operate and monitor equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and document shift activities while following strict safety and cleanroom protocols.

The role requires a high school diploma and 6–12 months of related manufacturing experience, with responsibilities including coordinating with on-coming shifts, handling hazardous materials, and contributing to continuous improvement through

Qualifications

• Minimum High School diploma or equivalent with related manufacturing experience.
• Ability to follow manufacturing and safety documentation and PTNs.
• Basic math skills and reading of graphs/charts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor equipment to minimize production impact
• Diagnose problems and request repairs; monitor for malfunctions
• Perform preventive maintenance such as quartz changes and cylinder changes
• Maintain accurate shift handoffs and documentation
• Adhere to strict cleanroom, safety and environmental policies
• Install, assemble, and maintain process supply components as needed
• Keep records of changes and communicate concerns during shifts
• Observe safety rules and maintain clean, organized work areas
