Job summary

Entegris, Inc. in San Luis Obispo, CA is seeking a Manufacturing OEM Technician I (1st shift) to build ultra high purity systems in a Class 100 cleanroom. You’ll assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies per drawings and work instructions while wearing cleanroom garments.

The role requires 1–2 years of experience and a willingness to lift up to 50 lbs daily. Expect 7am–3:30pm with emphasis on safety, quality, and timely production.

Qualifications

• Cleanroom–experience preferred in assembly environments.
• 1–2 years of mechanical assembly experience.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily.
• Ability to navigate BOMs, drawings, and instructions.
• Detail-oriented with safe work practices and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies per drawings and work instructions.
• Operate in a Class 100 (ISO 5) cleanroom wearing required garments.
• Follow engineering specifications to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Perform routine assembly operations and maintain 6S workspace.
• Maintain safe, accurate, and on-time shipments while supporting team and individual tasks.
• Learn measuring techniques, tool use, data entry, and basic QA practices.
