Job summary

Entegris is seeking a Manufacturing OEM Technician I for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) in San Luis Obispo, CA. You will build Ultra High Purity systems and subassemblies in a Class 100 cleanroom, following drawings and work instructions while wearing cleanroom garments and PPE.

You will assemble mechanical and electrical components, verify quality, and ensure safety and on-time shipments. Must have 1–2 years of relevant experience and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1–2 years of mechanical assembly or relevant experience.
• Willingness to work in a cleanroom environment.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs daily.
• Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical subassemblies from drawings, schematics, or work instructions.
• Work in a Class 100 cleanroom environment wearing required garments.
• Follow verbal and written instructions to build sub-assemblies with supervision.
• Install tube fittings using VCR and compression fittings with supervision.
• Maintain safety, 6S practices, and on-time shipments.
• Collaborate with team or work independently as required.
