Job summary

This is a contract-to-hire position based in Brooklyn Park, MN with a competitive hourly wage. Responsibilities include assembling devices, reading blueprints, ensuring quality standards, and participating in continuous improvement activities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of medical device assembly experience.
• Experience in a cleanroom or regulated manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and follow detailed work instructions and procedures.
• Strong documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
• Soldering experience.

Responsibilities

• Assemble medical devices on multiple product lines while meeting production standards.
• Follow written processes, procedures, and quality system requirements.
• Complete and maintain accurate manufacturing documentation and records.
• Read and interpret work instructions, blueprints, and assembly procedures.
• Communicate with supervisors and leads regarding production priorities and material shortages.
• Adapt to process changes and learn new product lines as needed.
• Assist with training and cross-training.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including Kanban management and metrics board maintenance.
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment.
• Support overtime and schedule flexibility when required.
