Job summary

The Right Staff is seeking 2nd Shift Medical Assemblers for our Brooklyn Park, MN client. This standing, contract-to-hire role requires 12+ months in medical device assembly within a cleanroom, and the ability to stand and move for long shifts.

You will gown and work with PPE in a high-level clean room, perform assembly and function testing of medical devices, and flex between workstations. Overtime Fridays are required, with full-time hours on evenings.

Qualifications

• 12 or more months of previous medical device assembly experience in a cleanroom environment.
• Longevity in your previous positions.
• Able to stand, move, bend, and rotate for 9 hours out of 10-hour days.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred with 1 - 2 years of previous medical device assembly or ISO Certified assembly experience.
• In lieu of a High School Diploma, must have 2-3 years of previous medical device assembly or ISO Certified experience.

Responsibilities

• Working in a high-level clean room environment
• Must understand the process of gowning up and PPE requirements for a high-level clean room
• Assembly & function testing of Medical Devices
• Ability to stand, bend & move for the duration of an 8, 9 or 10 hour shift
• Lean/sit stools available as workstation(s) allow
• Able to flex between workstations
