Job summary

Keysight in Santa Clara, CA is seeking a Cleanroom Inspection and Packaging Technician to inspect, clean, package, and prepare cleanroom-manufactured products for shipment.

The role requires 3–5 years of experience inspecting or packaging high-technology products, strong attention to detail, and ability to operate heat-sealing equipment while maintaining cleanroom protocols. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401K options.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of experience inspecting and/or packaging high-technology products.
• Experience using Oracle MRP or similar manufacturing software systems.
• Ability to work in a Class 1000 cleanroom environment.
• Ability to lift 30-35 pounds while packaging multiple systems daily.
• Strong attention to detail and prevention of labeling, packaging, and shipping errors.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal work instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Perform outgoing inspection, cleaning, and packaging processes from routine to complex.
• Handle optical and laser products to prevent damage or contamination during inspection and shipping.
• Inspect products under UV light for contamination and clean per procedures.
• Verify part numbers, serial numbers, and label information for accuracy.
• Package products using polyethylene bags and heat-sealing equipment.
• Secure cleaned products in foam end caps and plastic containers.
• Follow cleanroom gowning, contamination-control, and safety guidelines.
• Organise and coordinate materials within the work cell.
• Communicate effectively with team members, technicians, and engineers.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in cleanroom compliance.
