Job summary

Actalent is seeking an Engineering Technician to build, test, and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical systems in a cleanroom setting. You will support process improvements, engineering testing, and quality enhancements while aiding pilot production and the move to volume manufacturing.

The role requires reading blueprints and schematics, using hand tools and test equipment, and maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Proficiency with hand tools and test equipment for assembly, inspection and testing.
• Familiarity with cleanroom procedures and contamination control.
• Willingness to contribute to lean initiatives and process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Build, assemble, and test complex mechanical, electrical, and electro‑mechanical systems.
• Document tests and maintain accurate records of test results.
• Identify, report, and help solve recurring issues on production lines.
• Participate in pilot production activities and transition to volume manufacturing.
