Job summary

RASIRC is seeking a Testing and Assembly Technician to perform electro-mechanical assembly, functional testing, and basic troubleshooting in a cleanroom setting in San Diego, CA. You will contribute to product quality and support production goals.

The role requires 2–5 years in electro-mechanical assembly, ability to read schematics, and proficiency with Word/Excel/Outlook. Applicants must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident and be able to lift about 35 pounds.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2–5 years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.
• Proficient in English (written and spoken).
• Experience with MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to utilize test equipment and tools for assembly and troubleshooting.
• Ability to read diagrams, procedures, drawings and schematics.
• Experience working in a clean room environment.
• Ability to lift approximately 35 pounds.
• U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly of electro-mechanical chemical delivery systems.
• Conduct functional testing of production assemblies.
• Troubleshoot and repair basic issues in prototype and production systems; analyze and document test results.
• Assist in evaluating and repairing returned products.
• Follow established procedures, drawings, and schematics.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams on continuous improvement.
• Maintain 5S standards and a clean, organized workspace.
• Adhere to safety and cleanroom protocols.
