Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology in Austin, TX is seeking an Assembly Technician I to join our team. The role focuses on assembling components and subassemblies, studying instructions, and ensuring quality across the production process.

You will operate hand and power tools, perform leak tests, and read engineering drawings to meet strict industry standards in a cleanroom environment. This entry-level position expects 1+ year of related experience and a HS diploma or technical coursework.

Qualifications

Must have basic mechanical skills and be able to perform basic and repetitive assembly operations.
Ability to read and interpret written information and follow directions.
Experience in a manufacturing/cleanroom environment is preferred.
Reading engineering drawings, schematics, and blueprints is desirable.

Responsibilities

Performs basic mechanical assemblies & sub-assemblies.
Must be able to leak test.
Operates hand and power tools to complete assemblies.
Reads and interprets work instructions to ensure accuracy of work performed.
Interacts with management and team members to ensure effective communication on the production floor.
Performs standard testing and minor troubleshooting.
Ensures quality standards are met throughout all steps of the assembly process.
Attendance is an essential duty of the position.
