Job summary

Thorlabs is seeking an assembler to join our Mechanics Business Unit in Newton, NJ. You will assemble components and serve as the final quality check on products in our cleanroom, following detailed work instructions and ensuring conformance with production schedules.

You will wear cleanroom PPE, maintain a safe, organized workspace, and collaborate with teammates to tackle varying tasks. Prior assembly experience and a high school diploma are preferred; growth opportunities exist across

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of related assembly experience.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Able to wear PPE and follow cleanroom procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components and perform cleaning, inspection and testing.
• Follow written work instructions and meet production schedules.
• Maintain cleanroom standards and properly wear PPE.
