Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Cleanroom Assembler for a 3-month on-site assignment in Garden Grove, CA. The role requires assembling, welding, testing, and packaging high-purity semiconductor components in a Class 5/7 cleanroom, following 5S and safety guidelines.

The shift is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime flexibility. Pay ranges from $20 to $22 per hour, and the assignment is 100% on-site.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; minimum 1 year of Class 5 or Class 7 cleanroom experience.
• Basic math, reading, mechanical aptitude, computer literacy, and manual dexterity.
• Welding experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job orders to assemble, weld, test, and package components to specification.
• Operate pneumatic/water testing equipment, troubleshoot component failures, and assist quality teams with root-cause analysis on returns.
• Utilize small hand tools, fixtures, torque wrenches, and measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, visual scopes).
• Maintain cleanroom gowning protocols and document work using basic computer systems.

Job Overview

The Cleanroom Assembler constructs, welds, tests, and packages high-purity components for the semiconductor industry inside a Class 5 and 7 cleanroom, adhering to 5S principles, quality standards, and safety guidelines.

Work Details

• Shift: Monday – Friday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (overtime flexibility required)
• Duration: 3 months (temp assignment) Location: 100% on-site in Garden Grove, CA 92841 Pay rate : $20-$22/h

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job orders to assemble, weld, test, and package components to specification.

Candidate Requirements

• Education & Experience: High School Diploma/GED; minimum 1 year of Class 5 or Class 7 cleanroom experience.
• Core Skills: Basic math, reading, mechanical aptitude, computer literacy, and manual dexterity. Welding experience is a plus, but not required.
• Physical & Personal Attributes: Good vision, ability to lift up to 25 lbs, strong work ethic, team orientation, and solid communication skills.
