Job summary

Truce in Brentwood, TN is hiring Cleanliness Coordinators (Dishwashers) to support a fast-paced kitchen. Pay starts at $18.00 per hour and increases with experience as you grow with the team.

You’ll wash dishes, keep surfaces clean, assist with food prep, and help maintain food safety standards in a new, first-location restaurant focused on fresh, house-made items and friendly service.

Responsibilities

We're searching for fabulous Cleanliness Coordinators (Dishwashers) to join our team!!

Position Summary: Our Cleanliness Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a kitchen that SHINES. Cleaning, washing dishes, and assisting with various tasks that support the smooth operation of the restaurant. This role often involves operating dishwashing machines, hand washing, and keeping the kitchen clean and organized.

• Mindset: Keep the system running smoothly through cleanliness, sanitation, organization, and readiness for business.
• Washing Dishes: Ensures safe and sanitary dishware and equipment through the operation of industrial dishwashing machines to clean plates, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans.
• Hand Washing: Washing items that cannot be cleaned in the machine.
• Maintaining Cleanliness: Keeping the dish area, work areas, and equipment clean and organized.
• Trash Removal: Emptying and cleaning trash receptacles.
• Support: Assisting with other kitchen tasks, such as food preparation, delivery, handling, or restocking supplies.
• Food Safety: Adhering to food safety guidelines and procedures. Other Duties: Assisting with other duties as requested by the chef or kitchen managers.

Required Knowledge and Skills:

• Familiarity with kitchen equipment, including maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work effectively with other kitchen staff in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage a workstation andmaintaina clean and organized environment.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
