COCM (Capstone On-Campus Management) is hiring a Cleaning Services Technician to maintain cleanliness in residential buildings and communal areas at the University of Maryland. This role involves cleaning duties, safety compliance, and customer service interactions.

The Cleaning Services Technician is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of residential buildings, common areas, and surrounding grounds within a student apartment community. This position plays a key role in creating a safe, welcoming, and well‑maintained living environment for residents, guests, and campus partners. Responsibilities include routine cleaning, sanitation, waste and recycling collection, event support, inspections, and special project work throughout the community. The Cleaning Services Technician is expected to complete assignments efficiently and professionally while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

Work Environment: The work environment is mid‑to‑high paced. The noise level is usually moderate. Follow all safety procedures and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).
