Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking a reliable Lead to coordinate daily facility operations at a McAllen location, delegating tasks and guiding staff to maintain clean and safe buildings. The role involves operating equipment, handling chemicals, and supporting general janitorial duties as needed.

The position offers an 18:00–3:30 schedule, starting at $19.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma/ GED/ college degree not required.
• 1 year of similar work experience preferred.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• 1 year of lead or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow assigned work schedules and route cards as directed.
• Provide leadership and direction to team members.
• Maintain open communication between field employees and management.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Manage keys and access cards for the property.
• Report damaged or broken items and out-of-service features.
• Oversee additional service requests as needed.
• Ensure quality of work and confirm completion with Area Manager.
• Train new hires according to onboarding procedures.
• Complete and validate time records for employees.
