Job summary

ABM Industries in Garfield, TX is seeking a reliable Lead to ensure facility operations follow policies and procedures. The role involves delegating tasks, supervising the team, and providing guidance when the Manager is not present.

The Lead will help maintain clean and safe buildings and will handle cleaning chemicals and equipment as needed. Typical hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm, with compensation around $18 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma, GED, or college degree is not required.
• Preferred: 1 year of similar work experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
• Preferred: 1 year of lead or supervisory experience.
• Preferred: Valid Driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and direction to team members.
• Oversee and perform cleaning operations in assigned building.
• Ensure open communication between field employees and management.
• Report any barriers and follow assigned work schedules.
• Oversee and perform additional service requests in assigned building.
• Oversee quality of jobs and confirm completion with Area Manager.
