Job summary

Rye Street Tavern in Baltimore is hiring a Cleaner as part of Clyde's Restaurant Group. Earn $17.50-$21.00 per hour with flexibility in shifts and opportunities for growth and training.

This role supports cleaning of dining areas, restrooms and surrounding areas, with additional kitchen cleaning as needed, while adhering to safety guidelines and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Prior cleaning experience required; restaurant cleaning experience a plus.
• Familiar with safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible availability including mornings, late nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, patio, and surrounding areas; assist with kitchen cleaning.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to keep them spotless.
• Empty trash and maintain waste-disposal areas.
• Disinfect surfaces and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Adhere to daily cleaning checklists and health/safety regulations.
• Report maintenance issues to management.

What We Look For In a Cleaner

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Prior cleaning experience is required; restaurant cleaning experience is a plus but not essential.
• Familiarity with safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals, equipment and strong attention to detail.
• Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed

What You Will Do As a Cleaner

• Clean and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, patio, and surrounding areas. Support with kitchen cleaning as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors, ensuring they’re spotless.
• Empty trash bins and keep waste disposal areas orderly.
• Disinfect surfaces, including tables, chairs, counters, and equipment.
• Replenish cleaning supplies such as paper towels and soap as needed.
• Adhere to daily cleaning checklists and health and safety regulations.
• Report any maintenance issues to management promptly.
