Job summary

Servicon is seeking a dedicated custodial worker to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role involves cleaning offices, lobbies, and public spaces, disposing of waste, and ensuring a safe, orderly environment.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas according to standards.
• Empty and dispose of waste and ensure cleanliness of offices, lobbies, corridors, and public areas.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, mop hard surfaces, and clean spills as needed.
• Dust and wipe office furniture, fixtures, and surfaces; remove fingerprints from doors and surfaces.
• Keep janitor's closet organized and stocked; perform other duties as assigned.

The Role

Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety. May require frequent interaction with client.

What You Will Do

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor's closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
