Job summary

Servicon is seeking a dedicated custodial team member to clean, sanitize, and maintain assigned areas following our quality and safety standards. You will interact with staff and clients as needed while performing routine cleaning tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Experience in custodial cleaning preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe waste receptacles and remove waste to designated areas.
• Vacuum carpets, sweep floors, and damp-mop as needed in various areas.
• Dust and wipe office furniture and surfaces; clean doors and fixtures.
• Remove fingerprints and smudges from surfaces and doors.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean and orderly; perform additional duties as needed.

The Role

Directly responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining all assigned areas using established practices and procedures according to company and client standards of quality and safety. May require frequent interaction with client.

What You Will Do

• Empty, clean, and damp-wipe all waste receptacles as well as remove waste paper and rubbish from the premises to designated areas.
• Vacuum all rugs and carpeted areas, sweep or dust-mop hard floor surfaces, and damp-mop or clean spills as needed in offices, lobbies, corridors, stairwells, and public areas.
• Hand dust and wipe clean all office furniture, file cabinets, fixtures, paneling, windowsills, air-conditioning diffusers, wall grilles, and all other horizontal surfaces.
• Remove all finger marks and smudges from vertical surfaces, including doors, doorframes, light switches, private entrance glass, and partitions.
• Keep janitor’s closet clean, neat, and in orderly condition.
• Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed.
