Job summary

Lynden Door is hiring a Plant Aesthetics Team Member to keep facilities clean, safe, and welcoming for staff and visitors. You’ll support daily operations by maintaining restrooms, break rooms, and office spaces, with responsibilities ranging from sweeping and mopping to restocking supplies.

No prior custodial experience required; strong attention to detail and reliability are valued. This full-time on-site position includes benefits and a 6:00 AM–2:30 PM schedule with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with standard custodial equipment (vacuum, mop, etc.).
• Ability to perform cleaning duties specific to Lynden Door's needs.

• Dependable and punctual attendance.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, lunchrooms, and common areas.
• Assist with event setup and cleanup.
• Occasionally clean office spaces.
• Replenish supplies (toilet paper, soap, towels).
• Clean windows and plant barrels; sweep, mop, vacuum floors.
• Empty wastebaskets, trash, and recycling containers.
• Maintain building entries, ramps, railings, and walkways.
• Clean equipment after use and report repairs.
• Demonstrate professional conduct and mutual respect.

Location: Lynden Door - 2077 Main Street, Lynden, WA 98264
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM (Overtime as needed)
Pay: $21.00 per hour

If you enjoy keeping things clean, organized, and welcoming, this could be the role for you. As part of our Plant Aesthetics team, you'll play a key role in creating a safe, comfortable, and professional environment for both staff and visitors.

What You'll Do

As a Plant Aesthetics Team Member, you'll support our team by ensuring our facilities remain clean, safe, and ready for daily operations. This role includes:

• Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms, including restrooms, break rooms, lunchrooms, and common areas


• Assisting with event setup and cleanup


• Occasionally cleaning office spaces


• Replenishing supplies (toilet paper, soap, paper towels, etc.)


• Cleaning windows and plant barrels


• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors


• Emptying wastebaskets, trash, and recycling containers


• Maintaining building entries, ramps, railings, and walkways by removing debris


• Cleaning equipment after use and ensuring it remains in good working condition


• Reporting any building repair or maintenance needs


• Demonstrating professional conduct and mutual respect in all interactions

Physical Requirements

• Ability to climb, pull, stoop, kneel, crawl, twist, and crouch

• Base Pay: $21.00 per hour
