Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cleaning Professional to ensure our dog wash stations and grooming areas are clean, sanitized, and well-stocked for the next day's operations. This role involves cleaning wash stations, replenishing towels, and maintaining overall cleanliness to provide a safe and hygienic environment for pets and customers.

Duties:

Weekly Deep Cleaning:

• Deep clean drains, using specialized drain cleaners to clear any buildup and ensure proper water flow.
• Scrub Walls and Floors: Use heavy-duty cleaning agents to remove stains, buildup, and bacteria from walls, floors, and corners.
• Sanitize Grooming Tools and Equipment: Disinfect all grooming tools, drying stations, and work surfaces thoroughly.
• Inspect and Clean Ventilation Systems: Remove dust and debris from vents and fans to maintain air quality.
• Check and Replenish Supplies: Ensure cleaning products, disinfectants, and grooming supplies are fully stocked.

Daily Wash Station Cleaning:

• Includes wash basin and drain cleaning sanitization, clearing the station of hair, debris, dirt, and dust.
• Use bleach spray to disinfect the basin, drain, and surrounding areas, and setting automated machine cleaning functions for the next day.
• Overall station cleaning to remove any trash, hair, or debris around the station. Ensure the floor is dry and all furniture is in the correct position.
• Daily towel turnover, laundry, and fresh towel reset for the next day.
• Trash disposal to larger external trash can.

Daily Soap Level & Machine Testing:

• Inspect machine cabinet soap levels and replace to ensure the machine is dispensing soap properly.
• Run the machine on each setting to ensure all products are pumping and dispensing correctly. If any soap products are not dispensing correctly, troubleshoot as necessary.
• Ensure each machine is set to operational for the next day.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Comfortable handling pet hair and cleaning supplies.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs as needed.
• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
• Work involves exposure to pet hair, cleaning chemicals, and moderate physical activity.
