Job summary

Conifer Realty LLC in Princeton, NJ is seeking a detail-oriented Cleaner to keep hallways, common areas, stairwells, laundry rooms, restrooms, and entryways clean, safe, and welcoming for residents and visitors. This role supports a vibrant affordable housing community and helps create spaces families are proud to call home.

This full-time position offers Monday–Friday hours, competitive pay, 13 paid holidays, PTO, health benefits, retirement plans with company match, and ongoing safety

Qualifications

• 1+ years of custodial or janitorial experience in apartment or facility cleaning.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Knowledge of cleaning products and safety procedures.
• Good communication and customer-service skills with residents and staff.
• Time-management and flexibility to shift tasks as priorities change.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• OSHA or hazardous materials training a plus; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Keep common areas spotless by sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting.
• Maintain curb appeal with groundskeeping and light outdoor tasks as assigned.
• Support maintenance through apartment clean-outs, light painting, bulb changes, and upkeep.
• Prioritize safety in handling cleaning materials and report issues promptly.
• Create a welcoming environment for residents and visitors.

What You Bring as a Cleaner

You’re someone who sees the details that make a home feel cared for.

You bring:

Each day, you’ll:
