Title Cleaner

Job Summary

The Cleaner I is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and condition standards of the College’s buildings and immediate grounds. The Cleaner I performs a variety of housekeeping duties to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in both residential and administrative settings. This entry-level position involves routine cleaning tasks and requires attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently to ensure a clean and safe environment for residents or occupants.

Compensation

• Hourly rate for this position is $19.00 per hour (this role is eligible for overtime and shift differentials)

Experience Requirements and/or Equivalents

• Basic knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemicals, and equipment highly preferred

Standard Work Days and Hours

• This position is an onsite, full-time year round, working 40 hours/52 weeks (1.0 FTE )
• The regular work schedule for this position is Monday to Friday from 5:00 am – 1:30 pm. The schedule might require a few weekend days including the May overtime period which is 10 days straight
• Work assignments are reviewed and revised as necessary
