Join Goodwill Industries of New Mexico as a Clean Tech Case Manager, where you'll provide guidance, advocacy, and personalized support to individuals pursuing careers in the rapidly growing clean technology industry. Working with graduates of our in-house Solar Installation and Heat Pump Installation training programs, you'll help participants overcome barriers, access resources, and successfully transition into rewarding careers. $23/hr, negotiable depending on experience

Essential Duties:
  • Adhere to Goodwill's attendance and punctuality policies.
  • Ensure HIPAA compliance and maintain confidentiality of privileged information.
  • Implement CARF standards within all programs and adhere to the organization's Code of Conduct and Business Ethics Policy.
  • Contact participants and provide case management services to an assigned caseload in accordance with program guidelines and scope of work.
  • Travel as required to meet participant and program needs.
  • Orient participants to organizational policies and procedures, including rights and responsibilities, mission, programs and services, grievance procedures, and confidentiality requirements.
  • Provide case management services and coordinate referrals to appropriate support services, including medical, behavioral health, and social service resources.
  • Build and maintain collaborative relationships with community agencies and service providers.
  • Maintain accurate, current, and complete participant case records; document all participant contacts in a timely manner.
  • Complete all required documentation, case notes, reports, and program records within established timeframes.
  • Review, prepare, and submit participant budgets, reimbursements, and other program-related documentation in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Complete, verify, and submit monthly billing within established deadlines.
  • Monitor caseloads and close inactive cases on a monthly basis to ensure accurate program records.
  • Attend staff meetings, provide updates on participants with complex needs, and receive new referrals.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, meetings, and review of current industry practices.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to use hands, fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; see, talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, walk, and stand. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl and lift/move up to 25 lbs and may occasionally be exposed to outside weather conditions. Exposure to behavioral problems and other risk situations that may require crisis management and other techniques to protect self and client. Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and depth perception. Travel as required based on caseload, scope of work.

Minimum Qualifications:

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and or abilities required for the position. Individuals must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test. Individuals must have a valid New Mexico driver’s license, liability insurance, insurability under the agency insurance carrier, dependable vehicle and a clean driving record.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in social services or related human services field, preferred. (Other educational requirements may be required by funding source).
  • One to three years’ work experience in case management or social work is preferred.
  • CCM, CRC or MSW preferred.
  • Ability to acquire CPR and First Aid certification.
  • Bilingual preferred.
