Job summary

Meta is seeking an Energy Portfolio Manager to own Meta's clean energy contracts and carbon-related agreements. You will monitor project development, lead negotiations on amendments, ensure contract compliance, and report on financial and operational performance for operating assets.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in clean energy contract management, strong data skills, and the ability to work with legal, finance, and procurement teams. This is a strategic role within Meta's Global Energy Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, energy, or environmental science.
• 5+ years in clean energy contract management, renewable energy procurement, or energy project operations.
• Experience managing a portfolio of renewable energy contracts, especially wind and solar.
• Experience drafting official correspondence and building partnerships with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proficient with G Suite, Excel, Word, and Tableau.
• Ability to build cross-functional relationships and analyze energy data.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the ongoing owner for all of Meta's executed clean energy and carbon credit requirements.
• Create, maintain, update documents and data related to clean and renewable energy contracts.
• Track counterparty compliance with contract milestones and other deliverables.
• Respond to counterparty inquiries and manage contract amendments, collateral, force majeure claims, and other issues as needed.
• Surface and resolve issues in ongoing contracts and project operations.
• Track and analyze clean energy operational project performance and financial performance.
