Job summary

The University of South Carolina is seeking a service-minded leader to manage the team that keeps technology-enabled classrooms ready for teaching every day. As Classroom Technology Support Manager, you will supervise staff, coordinate coverage, and partner with Classroom Engineering and IT service units to deliver reliable, high‑quality support for instructors and students.

You will use ServiceNow data to identify trends, drive continuous improvement, and align service standards with campus

Qualifications

• Knowledge of classroom audiovisual systems and processes.
• Experience with endpoints and network technologies in educational spaces.
• Understanding of IT service management practices and metrics.
• Proven leadership and staff development abilities.
• Ability to analyze data from ServiceNow to drive improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and evaluate Classroom Technology Support staff; set clear expectations and build a collaborative team.
• Direct daily support operations for technology-enabled spaces, including coverage and upgrades.
• Use ServiceNow data and feedback to improve service quality and performance measures.
• Build relationships with instructors, units, and IT partners to plan classroom technology needs.
