Job summary

University of South Carolina seeks a Classroom Technology Support Manager to lead a campus-wide technology-enabled classroom support operation. You will train staff, ensure coverage, and drive service improvements using data and feedback to enhance teaching experiences.

You will partner with Classroom Engineering, Distributed Learning, and IT service teams to deliver reliable, high-quality classroom technology.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5+ years of job-related experience.
• Experience supervising technical support staff in higher education is preferred.
• Experience coordinating technology upgrades and service coverage.

Responsibilities

• Direct classroom technology support operations and staff coverage for day and evening shifts.
• Establish service standards and use data to improve reliability and user experience.
• Collaborate with instructors, units, and IT partners to plan and execute upgrades.
• Coach staff, manage workload, and ensure timely, professional service.
