Qualifications

• Must have one of: 48 hours of college credit, ParaPro test, or WorkKeys test; documentation due within 60 days.
• No prior experience required.
• Basic knowledge of common office equipment (phones, copiers, fax, email).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Intermediate English language skills.
• Good oral and written communication.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and with others.
• Ability to remain confidential and manage stressful situations.
• Ability to work one-on-one and in small groups with students.

Responsibilities

• Prepare classroom materials and assist with tests, grading, attendance and paperwork.
• Assist with curriculum delivery for individuals and small groups to ensure mastery.
• Monitor student behavior during activities and reinforce positive conduct.
• Perform light clerical tasks: data entry, inventory, filing, laminating and supplies.
• Support field trips and other events as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
