• After 2017, WorkKeys: Silver cert with min scores 4 on Applied Math, Graphic Literacy, Workplace Documents.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to development and implementation of a successful instructional program.
• Promote a positive image of the school and district program to the public.
• Work harmoniously with staff and students.
• Model good reading, writing, and speaking skills for students.
• Cooperate with supervising certified teachers.
• Attend and participate in professional development programs.
• Work directly with students, reinforcing skills taught by a certified teacher.
• Monitor written assignments and re-teach when needed.
• Work with large groups during reading or vocabulary activities.
• Assist individuals or small groups to reinforce language, reading, math, and social skills.
• Help with playground activities to strengthen large motor skills.
• Attend parent-teacher conferences as directed.
• Serve as a resource in curriculum, organization, and student evaluation.
• Assist with resource files and classroom materials.
• Proctor among students as needed under supervision.

Associate Degree or higher
