Job summary

Pleasant Valley School District is seeking a paraeducator to assist teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks in classroom settings. You will support students individually or in small groups, help prepare learning materials, and monitor behavior under supervision.

The role requires CPR/First Aid certification, strong English communication, and dependable, collaborative work habits within a school environment in Pennsylvania. Some ADL support and documentation duties are included.

Qualifications

• Two years of postsecondary schooling or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain highly qualified status.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently and have effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers with instructional and non-instructional student-related tasks.
• Supports students individually or in small groups under supervision.
• Assists in planning and preparing learning environments and materials.
• Provides documentation and maintains logs as required.
• Monitors student behavior and reports progress to teachers.
• Operates instructional equipment as directed and assists with ADL tasks as needed.
