Qualifications

• Two years of postsecondary education or equivalent experience preferred.
• Must possess and maintain highly qualified status.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• CPR and First Aid certification required.

• Ability to follow directives and maintain professionalism.
• Dependable, punctual, and able to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers with instructional and non-instructional student functions.
• Works under direction of teachers and other staff.
• Prepares learning environments and materials; sets up equipment.
• Administers instruction and assessments to students in small groups.
• Attends required meetings and staff development activities.
• Supervises instructional and non-instructional activities and areas.
• Maintains logs and documentation; records progress as needed.
• Assists students with activities of daily living (ADL) as required.
• Provides support to students with motor or mobility needs.
