Qualifications

• Two years of schooling in postsecondary general education or equivalent preferred.

• Able to follow directives and maintain chain of command.
• Dependable, punctual, flexible, and professional in appearance.

Responsibilities

• Assists teachers with instructional and non-instructional classroom tasks.
• Works with students individually or in small groups.
• Communicates with teachers and staff and supports lesson planning and materials.
• Administers instruction and assessments as directed.
• Provides documentation and maintains logs as required.
• Monitors student behavior and reports progress to staff.
• Operates instructional equipment as applicable.
• Assists with Activities of Daily Living and mobility supports as needed.
• Creates individualized learning materials under supervision.
• Ensures a safe school environment and follows all policies.
