Job summary

You will guide students in reading, language arts, mathematics and computer instruction, work with individuals and small groups, help with assessments, and participate in classroom management and materials preparation.

Qualifications

• Passing score on Para Pro Assessment or college transcript showing 9 hours of college English (3 in writing) and 6 hours in Math.
• Prior experience with students with special needs desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified staff in instruction and assessments.
• Reinforce skills in reading, language arts and math.
• Supervise students during non-instructional times and field trips.
• Assist with record-keeping and classroom materials.
• Support classroom management and safety procedures.
