Job summary

Einstein Charter Schools in New Orleans is seeking a Classroom Paraprofessional Educator to support students with special needs and help create an inclusive learning environment. Under supervision of the teacher, you will assist with instructional activities, supervise students, support transitions, and help implement individualized supports outlined in education plans.

• 40 hours of college credit, associate’s degree, or ParaPro Assessment score of 450 or higher (required).
• Paraprofessional experience (preferred).
• CPI certified (preferred).
• Bilingual in English and Spanish a plus!

Responsibilities

• Provide direct classroom support to students with special needs.
• Assist with instructional activities, supervision, classroom management.
• Support during transitions, arrival, dismissal, lunch, and recess.
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to implement student supports.
