• General knowledge of classroom practices and ability to maintain confidential files.
• Ability to work with teachers, students and parents effectively.
• Ability to operate standard classroom and office equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow instructional schedule and reinforce skills taught by the teacher.
• Assist with instructional activities and small/large groups.
• Help students with assignments and monitor behavior.
• Prepare instructional materials and assist with safety and routines.
• Escort students on field trips and assist with school activities.
• Maintain attendance records, health charts and classroom supplies.
